Waiting for You

Most psychics aren’t rich. This goes against the grain of what the media likes to claim quite a lot of the time, and we don’t speak up or disagree with it except in private as a rule, but I’d like to change the rules a bit today. Because we aren’t rich. We are waiting for the people we must help. If past lives or thinking you’ve planned your life in advance before you arrived on Earth goes against your belief systems, you might not want to read further.

That’s another thing people don’t know about psychics – most of us are very, very sensitive and try to adhere to your belief system, when and where we can. This is one such instance where I can’t, because the fact is, I know why I wait for clients. Many psychics don’t actively search out clients, which is why you’ll find us listed as online instead of spamming you with emails saying you must consult us. I realise at this point I should probably mention that some psychics do market extensively, and unless you inadvertently bare your teeth every time you see their email in your inbox, there is nothing wrong with that – especially if they are on their own and have built up a large clientele who have nothing but good to say about them.
It has been my experienced this isn’t often the case. Because most of us made a pact before we got here. I will wait for you to come to me when you need me most, and I will know, even as I talk to you and we see what your near future and longer term future holds, that someday, you will leave me. It sounds more melancholy than it is, because for every legitimate psychic, the day you leave is one to be celebrated, for it means your goals have been attained and we have had the privilege of working with and learning from you the entire time.

You don’t get rich, waiting. But we do get the incredible satisfaction of getting to know you on a deeper level than most anyone else around you does. People are themselves with psychics in a way that is more vulnerable and revealing than they often are with members of their own family. The courage, grace, and sheer grit you show us in dealing with your every day burdens teaches us how to better carry ours, and this is well worth waiting for.

You’ll hear me say this many more times, but it is well worth stressing for your sake and mine: there are millions of psychics for a reason. You aren’t meant to connect with everyone, and through a lot of failure, legitimate psychics know they aren’t meant to connect with every potential client either. We made a pact with you, and you specifically. You help us survive financially, and we’d help you with whatever issues need working through to make your future as happy and fulfilled a place it can be.
No legitimate psychic will ever measure their lives by how much money we make. We measure our lives by helping those we came here to assist.
